K12.Photos

For families

Your student’s picture day is about your family, not a data broker. Here is how you view proofs and order, and exactly how we handle your student’s photos — privately, and only with your permission.

What to know

Your photos, your permission

Student photos are never sold. Facial recognition is off by default, and a photo is sellable only when your permission allows.

View and order online

After picture day you get a link to your student’s proofs. Review them at home and order the prints and packages you want, on your own time.

Your photos stay private

Your student’s photos are not sold — a photo is sellable only when permission allows. Face templates — used only if you opt in to face match — are kept in our own private system and deleted by a nightly process within about a day of consent withdrawal, or when the retention window ends (365 days by default).

Face match is off by default

Facial recognition is off by default. If you opt in to help find your student’s photos, the match template is kept only in our own private system and destroyed when you withdraw consent or at the end of the school’s retention schedule (a year by default).

Sold only with permission

A photo is sellable only when your permission allows it. You stay in control of how your student’s pictures are used.

K12.Photos

School photography that never sells your students’ photos. Facial recognition is off by default, face templates stay in our own private system, and a photo is sellable only when permission allows.
